What is sub ohm vaping?

First up, let’s look at what sub ohm vaping actually is. Sub ohm kits produce bigger clouds than traditional vapes thanks to two things: resistance and airflow.

Let’s get into the science of it for a second...

Pushing electricity through a coil creates resistance, and that resistance is measured in ohms. Therefore, coils with a resistance of less than 1 ohm are termed ‘sub ohm’.

Sub ohm kits are designed to deliver more power without excessive heat, which as a result produces more vapour.

Then there’s airflow. Sub ohm vapes have larger air holes to cool the coil and also the vapour. Most sub ohm kits have adjustable airflow so you can switch between mouth to lung or direct to lung, plus this affects the vapour temperature and flavour intensity.
