What is Temperature Control Vaping?

Electronic Cigarette technology is showing no signs of plateauing. With incredible advancements happening every day in the world of vaping. So what is temperature control vaping? Keep reading to find out.

It all started with the simple types of devices that delivered a constant stream of voltage to an atomizer. We now call these 'analogues'. Soon after, variable voltage devices found their way on to the market. These were the perfect solution for those who wanted their vape their way. As they allowed the user to have a bespoke experience at the touch of a button. This novelty soon became a little mainstream for most vaping hobbyists. However, soon came the variable power e-cig kits. These intelligent pieces of kit detected the resistance of your coil for you (no more burnt atomizers!). They would also provide a superior experience to anything seen before.

Temperature Control,/TC vaping is now seen as the most exciting advancement in electronic cigarettes and vaping user experience. It was predicted by a gentleman called P Bursado. And has now become the hottest must have feature on box mods.

The short answer:

You set the temperature you want the atomiser to run at. Versus selecting the voltage or power output of the mod. This means that when you press the power button the e-cig mod monitors the temperature. Then it intelligently adjusts the power to keep the coil at the desired temperature and maintain it.

Why is Temperature Control so exciting?

The temperature of the coil is essential to how your vapour tastes. Ever noticed that your coil tastes burnt before you’d even had a chance to properly use it? If so, you most likely ran too much heat through your atomiser and burnt it out. Alternatively, if you’re not getting enough vapour, you’re running your mod too cool and not giving it the chance to evaporate.

Is Temperature Control here to stay?

Vapouriz thinks that temperature control box mods have some real advantages over its predecessors. It is certainly an exciting addition to the e-cig market. It will help with those odd dry hits.
