Clearomizer tips for a satisfying Vape

September 03, 2015

1. Covering the air hole

All clearomizers need to have an airflow to produce vapour. An airflow is essential for your clearomizer to work.

Depending on what model you have, you will either have little indents at the base of the clearomizer, holes in the sides of the clearomizer or an airflow ring where you can control the amount of air into the clearomizer to give you more or less vapour.

2. E-Liquid down the middle

If you have a top filled clearomizer e.g. CE4, the centre metal tube must be avoided to stop the e-liquid running straight out the bottom. Bottom filled clearomizers e.g. FUSE, have a centre plastic tube which must also be avoided

To fill correctly hold your Clearomizer at a 45 degree angle and pour the e-liquid slowly around the centre tube.

If you do accidently get liquid down the centre the clearomizer may gurgle. This can be easily fixed though by drying the centre with a cotton bud or tissue, you’ll be vaping away in no time!

3. Overfilling

Overfilling your clearomizer increases the chance of it leaking. Only fill your clearomizer to the printed line

4. Having a loose heating element

Most of our clearomizers have the option to replace the heads or coils. These are easy to change but make sure that it’s screwed back in securely. The coil or head is the heating element of the clearomizer. If the coil is loose your e-cig can’t produce vapour.

5. Low battery power

If your battery is running out of charge, there is less power to the clearomizer and the amount of vapour will reduce. To get a lot of vapour you need to have a fully charged battery. We sell many different types of batteries. Some that will last longer, for example 1300mAh batteries and others that give more power, for example the VBOX. To view our range click here

6. Taking long draws

Long drags can damage your clearomizer. E-cigs should be used in short draws.

7. Not enough e-liquid

The atomizer (head/coil) needs to be fully saturated in e-liquid. If the liquid runs too low the clearomizer may ‘dry burn’ and will need to be replaced more often. Plus, it won’t taste particularly pleasant!

8. Not letting it soak

With a new clearomizer, it is recommended to let the e-liquid soak into atomizer (head/coil) before use to avoid a ‘dry burn’. If you are desperate for a vape or are on the run, simply inhale without pressing the button on the battery to draw the e-liquid into the heating element. You’ll quickly be vaping again.

9. Keeping in pockets

As you sit down, pressure is put on the clearomizer which can cause cracks to appear. We do have rather snazzy e-cig cases or lanyards to avoid this here.

10. Maintenance

Clean the connection between your battery and clearomizer regularly for a good connection and a satisfying vape. If there is any dust or debris on the top of you battery this can impact your vape so clean it regularly with a cotton bud or tissue.
